Training & Activities

Varied, Purposeful Workouts

Every run has a purpose. Our coaching staff designs workouts for different ability groups, ensuring everyone is challenged appropriately:

  • Long runs at elevation to build endurance

  • Hill workouts to develop strength and power

  • Tempo runs to improve lactate threshold

  • Interval training for speed development

  • Recovery runs to adapt to altitude and training load

  • Technique sessions for uphill and downhill running

Cross-Training & Flexibility

Running is just part of the equation. Daily sessions include:

  • Dynamic stretching and mobility work

  • Core strengthening exercises

  • Flexibility training to prevent injury

  • Cross-training activities to build overall fitness

The Altitude Advantage

Training at 4,500-6,000 feet isn't just about bragging rights. Altitude training stimulates physiological adaptations that improve oxygen delivery and utilization. When you return to lower elevations, you'll notice the difference in your breathing, endurance, and race performance.

Learn What Elite Runners Know

Our comprehensive educational program is what truly sets us apart. Through lectures, workshops, and group discussions, you'll gain knowledge that accelerates your development:

Learn from Experience

Our sessions aren't just lectures—they're interactive discussions led by experienced coaches and guest speakers who've been where you are. Ask questions, share experiences, and connect the dots between what you're learning and what you're experiencing on the trails.
